Unhappy is this bad?

ok i was under my car checking out the connections of the plug wires to my opti....my opti is covered in oil...i mean...its not pouring out...but its covered and you can tell...i think this could be the culprit of my hesitation? what should i do??? i mean im gonna end up changing the opti...but those orings? is that where the oil would be most likely coming?? and would the oil be getting into the opti and if so...would that have the same effects of moister getting in there?? thanx all!

yes its just one of the three seals in the timing cover! theres the waterpump seal, the opti seal and the crank seal! the waterpump seal is a PITA to do though! i mean a REAL PITA its really fragile and the way you put it on is friggin ghey like i said i got an electric waterpump just so i never have to deal with it again cause its THAT BAD! and even if you do get it in.. chances are it will leak soon enough

most definately.. if oil gets sucked up into the opti or gets in thru the top of the opti where the lil connector goes then yes it can cause problems!
