Backfiring like a ****/Burning after LTs

I got my duals put on today but my car still backfires like a ****. Is it because I'm not running o2 sensors (waiting on extensions to arrive)

Also, will heat wrap still work even if its touching the headers?

I would bet that the problem will go away after the o2 sensors are installed.

Hehe, still trying to get away with not relocating those wires arnt you bret?
Is it doing it after it warms up?
The O2s will help a bit, but I think you are going to have to get up to RMS or MC racing and get some tuning done.
Mine pops LOUD when I go WOT and then let off, POP POP POP, well more like KA POW KA POW KA POW!!!!!! and flames shoot out the pipes.

As I said, anything touching the header pipe is living on borrowed time, it has to have some clearance or you WILL be replacing it.
I damn near installed those headers myself so you are going to have to get your hands dirty and splice some wire in there. Its not hard and you will learn how to do it, try it yourself first and then if it goes wrong I will come over and give ya a hand.
