I want a 396



hey Tony, did Todd get his 396 up and running again after his problem on the dyno? has he been to the track yet?

That car will haul once you get the suspension and tranny right. I am hoping to try out my new setup in a couple weeks. Later

I think the engine is ready and needs to be put back in the car. Then I need to finish tuning his car.

No, I ended up keeping the old 355" LT1, went with a set of LE3 fully ported stock castings/solid roller by Brett and finally put a Moser 12bolt, with full BMR suspension under the car. I am shooting for 10's NA and 9.50's on spray maybe better but we will soon find out.

I am going to start out with my old 200HP tune up and go from there. If I can get the car to 60' in the low 1.3's then I shouldn't need to spray more than 250 to run mid 9's. Who is building your trannies b/c it seems like you have had some porblems?

Thanks that was at SAR. When is that event? It if is the 31,1st, and 2nd that is the Clash race at SAR. I am suppost to be out of town but I am trying to change plans so I can race.
