back firing issue! please help!

i drove the car that im selling to dinner last night and it drove fine. in total it was 3 miles to get to the place. i parked the car and when i got back to it and turned it on, i noticed the car was sounding different. on top of that, i felt something different when i put my hand on the shift ****, something that would come and go every second or so and it made the motor feel differnt. the transmission shifts fine, so i think its motor related.

case and point, when i started driving it, it felt like it was about to stall out and if i gased it it realy wouldnt move. i had to gas it slowly and i would get it moving, but if i punched it it would backfire pretty bad.

the car has a header gasket issue that its had for months, and disconnected o2's which have been disconnected for months also.

when the motor turns on, it sounds okay, but i feel this weird bump in the shift ****. please help. im trying to sell this car and would like to fix it soon.

sounds like a catalytic converter. you may have blocked it up with running rich(since you have a exhaust leak and or 02 sensors are disconnected). also clean the throttle body and and Iac sensor that under the throttle body.
