Automatic Belt Tensioner

Ok guys, I know this is gonna sound stupid, but I don't know how to get the automatic belt tensioner off. I've loosened the bolt and tried prying the pulley, but it won't spring around to loosen the belt. The book says it should magically move with the bolt out but it's not. I'm in the process of ripping out my opti, so I'm sure this is the first of a few dumb posts, thanks.

You don't loosen the bolt. You turn the bolt the other way and the pulley swings out of the way.

Re: Automatic Belt Tensioner

Are we sure he isn't actually trying to remove the tensioner assembly from the accessory plate, which would require removing the bolts behind the pulley?
