I just had Motive 3:73 gears installed into my Moser 12 Bolt. What a difference. I do not hear any gear noise unless I am in 5th or 6th gear traveling at a speed of 50-60 mph. And then, I only hear a slight howling noise.

I heard these gears were quiet and now I am convinced. The installer originally set the backlash at .006 but at this setting I had noise in all gears. However, he set the backlash at about .009 (nine thousandths) and what a difference. No noise unless I am at highway spped on the interstate. I purchased the gears from national drivetrain for $149.99. The install kit cost about $79.00 dollars.

Has anyone else had good experiences from motive gears-10 or 12 bolt?
