!ASR Keep Cruise

Well I deleted ASR about a year ago and replaced it with the stock cable off a non-asr car. I want to know what all I need to do to get the cruise control to work again? I know that I need another cable but what else would need to be done. I searched and didnt find much and have been outta the loop for awhile. Thanks alot peeps.

Well if you find out let me know. I hate the ASR and the huge noid on top of my valve cover. I would love to get rid of it but I want to keep my cruise as well.

I was under the impression that you needed the cruise control cable off of a non traction control car.

no, TCS and cruise are seperate systems

TCS/ABS are controlled by the EBTCM, and cruise is controlled by the PCM

so, you removed the TCS thing over the valve cover, AND the cruise actuator/module?

The ASR and cruise control modules are seperate. ASR is on the valve cover. Cruise is down near the drivers side frame rail near the ABS module.
