It seems that now there is a problem with my ASR system on my 97 Z28 A4. The fog lights do not work either. The switches on the dash do not engage/disengage the fog lights and ASR system anymore. Turning on or off the car alarm used to also blink the fog lights, and that is not occurring either. Any ideas what might be the problem and a rough idea of cost and hours involved to fix? It's kind of a bummer because now the ASR system is permanently engaged (and the fog lights don't work lowering the coolness factor ) and without being able to turn off the ASR system, the car refuses to let the back tires break loose

 

Is there anything behind the switches in the dash there that might have caused this? Everything else is working great on the car except for these two things. And of course, the switches are side by side and therefore I am thinking that this is probably not a coincidence and maybe it's something in the dash behind the switches. Also, I have checked all the fuses (in the car and under the hood) and they all look OK. I am stumped!!
