ARP stud kit for heads

Who here used them and what are your thoughts on them? Also can you get the heads off with the motor still in the car? I am thinking of buying a set when I get my heads done over the winter. But I am not taking the motor out. Thanks on anyones info......John

Yes, you can get the heads on and off with the studs. I am building a forced induction LT1 and I am going to stud the heads and the mains. A buddy of mine has a forced induction LT1 in a Z and he blew some headgaskets last year. He got the heads off with the motor in the car and they are studded.

Good, I think it is a good idea for a forced induction car.
