Which ARP bolts...Stainless or black ones?
Hey guys...just as the question says. I'm getting the rest of the small parts for my combo install. Which ARP heads and intake bolts.
The stainless ones or the black ones. Is their really a better one of the two?
Thanks
Tim

Do you know for certain that they have the head bolts in stainless for LT1 heads? The reason why I ask is that when I rebuilt a BBC recently with Edelbrock alum heads, I could only get the ARPs in black not stainless. The decision was made for me.

Thanks for the replies fellas,
I called Summit and one of the techs gave me a price for the regular black ones and then asked me if I wanted a price for the stainless ones.
I called Jim Pace Performance and he also gave me a price for black ones and asked if I wanted a price for the stainless. It's crazy because in both instances, I was always interupted and had to get off the phone and couldn't wait for a price check on the stainless.
Now that I think of it, the Summit guy was suggesting that I get the Head bolts in black and probably the intake bolts in stainless.
