Does anyone know why not all Z28's have a Chevy symbol on the front facia? I have a license plate on mine, but when I took it off, I had a BEAUTIFUL red Chevy symbol behind it. But, I have seen true Z28's without this emblem. Is there a reason?

 

don't know... but this shouldn't really be in the tech forum... go ask in the appearence section... they'll be able to help you... or don't bother... a modertor will move it for you, shortly im sure...

I can't think of any that intentionally came from the factory without the bowtie emblem. They just stick on, so removal is no big deal. Sometimes a body shop will forget to put one back on after collision repair.

 

well i know i could help you on this one, heres why my dont have it , mines an aftermarket front bumper cover so does not come with the bowtie heres another reason once you paint your car they paint it the same color of the car therefore its not noticable.

 

A replacement front fascia doesn't come with that bowtie (or the logo up on the nose) - it needs to be added. I'd guess it means the nose has been replaced.

when i took my license plate off i also noticed the red bowtie.. but mine was slightly slanted.. i just ripped the lil fawker off and straightened her out some people probably get bored and start tearing emblems off :P

 

I'm sure that they deifnitely do that and thatnks for the replies, I was just wondering if it may have been a quirk from the factory.
