Those basiclly look like the rr's you get with a hot cam kit. I bought a knock module from gmpartsdirect when I installed my set.

I put like 48K on a set of 1.5 ProForm 1.5s, 32K of that with the cam and appropriate springs, swapped out half of them for a higher ratio on the intake and even a ProForm hating friend was amazed how tight they were yet. I was only asking .474/.510 out of them. I have a set of ProMagnums on the way now for a more aggressive setup but the ProForms never disappointed and might end up on my wagon.

ProForms are obviously cheap but does anyone have any horror stories of them??

I have not seen any horror stories, and if you search there have been several people run them in the past. However my view is that you can get promags used in that price range.

Why risk it just to save a few bucks? Get Comp Pro Mags...

I have put about 80,000 on mine. I'm sure if they were in a strenuous setup, the outcome would be different.

Well, my strenuous environment is a nitrous setup, run very smoothly, with timing pulled, all the safety stuff, and only used at the track.

I think that is mediocre strenuous??
