Anyone want to take a crack at what kind of 1/4 times i'll get?

I have a 91 RS camaro /w a 95 lt1 & t-56 (pro 5.0 shifter) out of a 95 trans am. Right now im replacing the clutch to a spec III. Already changed the plugs and optis and running a CAI with a cone filter towards the driver's side (where the battery compartment was, moved it to the passenger's side).

As far as mods I gave it a tune up, new plugs, wires, new opti. I have some SLP 1 5/8" shorties with 3" piping all the way back to a 3" in 3" out hooker aeroflow. Spohn tourque arm, v6 springs in the front and back (has that pouncing stance), and a LS1 aluminum driveshaft. Gonna be running street tires (poor 60' )

I would go to check it out myself, but like I said the cluthc is being replaced gonna finish that this weekend. Im expecting to see low 13's to mid 13's. What do you guys think?

I would guess..mid to high 13's..but thats just my guess..lots of variables here. Let us know what you run when you get your new clutch.

Hmm, aren't the lt1 fourthgens stock high 13's? I figured maybe with the 300 lb lighter third gen, the tourque arm, aluminum driveshaft, shorty headers, and springs on the traction I would be out of the high 13 range.

most stock LT1s in 4 gens run mid to low 14's. mine ran only 14.6 when i got it. sure it could have been improved w/driver technique and tires, but not that much. Im saying 13.7x's. good luck. hopefully you'll prove us wrong and pull some low 13's. but it will take some nice drag radials and good driving to do it.

Oh, I thought these motors were high 13 vehicles. In that case mid to high 13's seem reasonable. Hopefully I can pull off a low 13 .

Hey guys, I was thinking of upgrading to some self aligning 1.6 RR arms and was wondering if I would need to reprogram the PCM, I already have the cable and tuner cat so its no problem. What kind of times could I possibly get with these? I eventually want to do more as well, so please don't see it as a waste of time.

I just did 1.6 rrs on mine, no tuning required, but stiffer valve springs are recomended. I cheesed out and just put a 35 dollar set of LT4 springs on mine. No problems yet. Hope this helps, Prorac1. And fwiw, i changed mine on the car (valve springs), and its really not that bad. Prorac1

Notice anything on the butt-o-meter or more importantly, track times? I really don't care for dyno's, the track is where it counts.

Kinda of also depends on the gears. My 97TA use to have 2:73s and it ran 14.2 all day with an SLP manual fan switch, full interior, no weight reduction. The only way I could get it lower was to run the car at night. So I would give ya high 13s.

Ah, man, you lucky dog!
Okay, with the gears and exhaust, and hopefully you don't spin much, I'll give ya 13.3s and that's my finally offer.
So you now you'll have to go out and collect a few slips and let us know the 60' and the 1/4.
