Anyone using the TNT LT1 plate kit?

Is anyone running 200hp or more through a tnt nitrous plate on a lt1/lt4 with any luck? If so at what levels do you begin to have distribution/detonation issues with that duel nozzle tnt plate set-up? I assume everyone is having good luck at the 150-175hp levels but let me know from first hand experience of the higher hp levels. I posted this in the nitrous forum with no response so I am re-posting here because of higher traffic. Thnaks for any response!

i have that plate kit and have run a 150 w/ it and it was a ton smoother than the single nx fogger i had b4. love it for the looks and it performed better.

How much better did it perform? I will also be switching from a single nx nozzle if I decide to get the TNT kit.

just pulled a lot smoother and more consistent. just looking at it is obvious it's a better design.

I am also running it, only issues I had with it were that I needed to shave the top of the thermostat housing a bit so everything would fit. Other than that, its a nice quality piece.

I know they changed the plate somewhat because the older plates were purple. Maybe they addressed the fitment issues with the newer plate? Anyone else spray 200 or more through their TNT plate?

Yea it was pretty weird to do that I thought but I did indeed have the purple one. Maybe I got the one before they changed it, I bought the kit maybe 3-4 yrs ago.

I currently have the TNT set up but hve ran the NX in the past. IMO, the TNT is far more powerful. I would not take away from the NX however because it was always reliable.

I am planning on going to the 200 shot when I get an appropriate fuel set up. Just 150 thus far.

Re: Anyone using the TNT LT1 plate kit?

im actually switching from the plate to a nozzle cause im going 200...

The plate doesnt allow 1 and 2 pistons to get fuel, so which will cause it to run lean and then BOOM..

happen to my car

My #1 piston exploded in peices. But now i have a 355 fully forged running a 200 shot with the single nozzle!

Re: Anyone using the TNT LT1 plate kit?

I have heard of issues like this with the compucar plate and a few others plates for some reason. I have heard of many people having great luck with the TNT plate at the 200hp range. I have personally seen 2 different cars running the TNT plate at the 200hp levels with great success. I have also heard of a few going as high as 225-250 with success! I just wanted to see what the general success's or problems with the TNT kit itself. As we all know TNT jetting is underated so at each level you are actually getting more than what the jet card says!
