Anyone using Racetronix injectors?

I'm going to follow a few pieces of advice and ditch my Accel injectors. I'm looking at a set of 37# Racetronix. Anyone using them?

Thanks,
Frank

I haven't heard much about racetronix but you might want to consider the 36# injectors from SLP. They're new GM / Bosch injectors for slightly less then the racetronix. I'm gonna be ordering them in about a month probably.

Re: Anyone using Racetronix injectors?

I have the 37lb Racetronix ones. My new setup hasn't been fired yet, so i can't give feedback except they seem to be very high quality pieces.

Hey Frank, I have 37# Racetronix fuel injectors and they have worked great so far. I have had them for over a year.

Re: Anyone using Racetronix injectors?

I have the 37 pound Delphi/Lucas injectors and have been very pleased with them. I have been using them for 18 months now with no problems. On my application, I discarded the fuel injector retaining clips because there was no provision for them on the injector body but this has had no detrimental effects.

If so, then yes.

I'm anxious to get to the track this spring. With the new 255 walbro and the bigger injectors is FEELS a lot stronger. Like a tenth or two.

Which probably has more to do with my old injectors being tired, but there IS something to be said for a small duty cycle.

Huh?

SLP Bosch / Delphi 36 = $40.62 each x 8 = $324.95
Racetronix / Delphi 37 = $34.99 each x 8 = $279.92

I was basing my prices on the Thunder Racing website and SLPonline.com. Racetronix injectors are $332.99 on thunderracing.com and the SLP injectors are $324.95. I didn't realise you offered the injectors direct from your site. Glad i didn't order the SLP ones just yet, thanks.

Re: Anyone using Racetronix injectors?

I did exactly what you are doing, Frank. I ditched a set of Accel 30# in favour of the racetronix Delphi/Lucas 37#. First thing I noticed was faster starting after stopping the engine for a while (30 min- 2hrs). Apparently the injectors were leaking and flooding the engine. It also idles much smoother.

Ok, would the 37# injectors be the best decision for my application? 12:1 compression, 6" rod, 355 with race ported LT1 heads with 2.0"-1.56" valves, 234*/242* .575"/.595" hydraulic roller, ported LT1 intake with 58 MM throttle body. A4 transmission with 3800 stall, 3.73 gears, 3200# '93 Camaro with a 200 shot of progressive "wet" NX. Cam RPM range is 3000-6500.

Thanks,
Frank
