Anyone use SpeedInc Hooker LT y-pipe?

I just bought a pair of Hooker long tube headers for my 97 Z. I am sorta pressed for cash and dont wanna spend the $250+ for the mufflex y-pipe. I looked at Speed Inc's website and they list a Hooker LT y-pipe for LT1's for only $169. Does anyone know what brand this is and how good is it?
Thanks

Bought it. Installed it. And it works and sounds great. Summit has it for $129.99 but its out of stock. So have SpeedInc price match it to Summit and you'll get it for $129.99.

I thought that the one in the GP section and the one that Summit sells are two different pipes. The one that Summit sells is only 2 1/2 and not 3. I have been waiting for an answer, along w/ a few others, on the fit of the GP section pipe.

whitey, you must be thinking of the Stainless Works Y-pipe. hooker makes their own and summit sells it, but it's backordered for over a month

Ooh, my bad. Does anyone know where to see a picture of the Hooker pipe? It's good to know there is another option, although not really available right now.

OK It really is available at SpeedInc right now. www.ls1speed.com. And like I said you can price match it for $129.99 from Summit. I know this cuz I did this. It fits perfectly. You do not have to mod any part of the car to get this on. Hey I may have been the first person on this site to get it and install it! Sorry

I've had mine for over a month and haven't had a chance to install it yet. Hopefully soon. I'll let you know how it goes.

How close does this pipe come to the fuel lines? I know that was one problem that was encountered when I had my y-pipe made.

Thanks for the pics!
I called Summit last night and they couldn't find a part number, price or any other info on the pipe. They told me to call Hooker and ask them. Would anyone have the Summit part number for this pipe?
