do a search on slp loudmouth and exhaust, you will VERY easily find lots of info and some sound clips....not many owners have complaints w/ their LM setups from what ive seen...

I have it on my car and its too loud. It sounds decent on an otherwise stock car, but with my shorties and off road pipe, it is exceedingly loud and raspy. I got so many complaints from my neighbors that I am in the process of hacking it up and installing a muffler in it. If you are planning on getting headers and any kind of aftermarket y pipe, take this into consideration. The resonance is headache inducing, and even at idle it can be heard clearly from inside my hosue while the car is sitting outside idling.

I would highly recommend listening to the SLP Loudmouth in person because IMHO it is the worse sounding exhaust you can put on an F-body. Yes it is very loud but the sound quality is garbage.

I think it sounds decent enough--it just depends on what you like. I've driven behind a buddy with the LM and which was fine at first, but after awhile it absolutely drove me insane because of the noise. I wouldn't put it on my car and I wouldn't put it on a daily driver. Another guy I know got the LM and after a week decided it was just too loud. So you definately need to hear it first, inside and outside of the vehicle--unless you're of the mind-set that the louder the better. An alternative choice you may want to look into is the Hooker cat-back.

Its an aquired taste. I have a LM, off road Y-pipe, and Jet Hot Long tube headers. If you like the nascar type sound its awsome then. If you dont and are a wuss, then get something else I personaly love it!
