Anyone use this from SLP ????

I just seen these . They are bolt on sub-frame connectors . Whats
better the bolt ons or the weld on sub-frame connectors ? Is anybody
using the bolt-on type ? Thanks .

Do a search in here for SLP and Global West subframes. Theres also BMR, Hotchkis and many others that might catch your eye. I would recommend Weld-In subframes because some guys I heard that have Bolt-Ins have experienced the bolts backing out and stripping due to the body flex after time. Weigh out your options of what brand since some subframes may hang a lil lower than others and cause clearance issues if your car is lowered. I just bought a Hotchkis two point Weld-In so thats what I went with.

You could go with bolt-ins and have them welded but that would add unecessary cost. Hotckis, SLP, Global West and what I use, BMR are all good and get the job done. Definitely get them welded though. Also depending on your power goals and clearance desiribility, you could get either boxed or tubular SFCs as well with the tubular sacrificing a little strength but having the best ground clearance.

On my 94 Trans Am I installed the Jegsters from JEGS, They are bolt on, which made it easy for me to do, I then took the car to a muffler shop, where I also had them welded (for $20.00).

I like Hotchkis ones, since they are the only boxed SFC specificly engineered to give you maximum ground clearance. Weld in of course. SLP are also nice, BMR is ok, but I am bit concerned with their quality anymore. Of course the less metal the lighter the SFC, dont forget.
