Question Anyone tried Kuhmo tires?

Just wondering what your thoughts are on them. Just looking for a decent tire for daily driving.

Got a price from a local tire dealer for four 245/50-16 (H speed rated) road force balanced and mounted on the car: $381.00 w/tax.

Input please

I have them on all our cars. Nothing spectacular as far as grip but an excellent bang for you buck. They are great daily driving tires

i have the Kumho 712s.. they are nice b/c they are cheap! the tires have a great water ridge in them so i dont notice a lot of slipping on wet pavement. basically they are cheap and thats why i went with em.

I've put 25,000 miles on my Kumho 712's. They hold up well (even at the track) and have good wet pavement grip. They are worlds better than the BF Goodrich Comp TA's I had before.

They're not the "ultimate" tire.....but you can't go wrong for the price.

How do they compare to SZ50's?

I wouldn't even try to compare them to the sz50's, but they are a great tire for the price. I autocrossed mine in the rain and couldn't believe how well they gripped. They do pretty darn good on dry pavement to. As far as daily driving they are excellent for this. I do a lot of that too. Only problem I've noticed is one of them may have mysteriously went out of balance a little. Course that could be blamed on my driving style as well. Try 'em, you'll probably be satisfied.

Thanks for all the replys everyone, I really appreciate it. I was hoping that's what the general consensus was

Yup, that's all I want them for is easy driving on the street. I have "other tires" for when things get serious
