anyone straight up removed baffles in valve covers?
I have proform's crushed balck valve covers and they clear my 1.6 rockers just fine, but the sides of the baffles hit and I can't bend them cause I already tried and ended up breaking the baffle's off! I guess I don't know my own strength. That or they're weak. Anyway, I was wondering if I use the stock PCV system, and have one breather in the passenger side cover, will they be ok with NO baffles. I would think oil would shoot through the intkae manifold and/or out the breather. Please help. I'm trying to assemble my motor ASAP. Thanks guys.

I run my stock valve covers with no baffles at all. Only prob was i had an oil leak around a few of the valve cover bolts. A little dab of gasket sealer fix that and you can see it.
A valve cover that is a little more stiff would probably not leak.
Hope this helps

well, it helps, but doesn't really answer my question. I know oil won't shoot directly into the fully unobstructed holes, but will oil easily work its way eventually through the PCV pipe or through the breather? Anyone???

not sure about your's but when i put my 1.6 rr on the oil didnt shoot like i expected. i could run my car with the covers off and didnt leak too bad. so i dont think youll have a problem with the oil leaking or getting sucked up in the pcv.
try it and see what happens.
