Anyone with an SLP CAI

How often is it necessary to change/clean the filters, assuming it doesn't see rain hardly at all, let alone a dirt road?

One other thing...I didn't put my CAI on. Dumb question: How the hell do you get the filters off the CAI in the first place?!?!?

I haven't had mine on long enough to have to clean them but it's not too frequent of a job. It would be good to have an extra pair. You have to remove the splash guard to get to them and they just clamp on. It's a bear on my car because I have to jack it up.

I assume when I drive it on ramps to change the oil, I should be able to get at them then, right?

Thanks for anyone's help to these rather dumb questions

you dont have to jack up the car to take off the splash guard......I don't. just crawl under there.

My car is low to the point I can't get my head under it. Ramps would make it easier in my opinion.
