I just bought the Sphonn torque arm that has its own crossmember which bolts to the tunnel brace. Has anyone with longtubes hooked up an xpipe and tru duals with this setup? Or can it be done?

that is freds (injuneer) car. He runs all spohn, and true duals.

 

you know Sphonn makes 2 versions of this right, one marked Long Tube for a Long tube header and Y pipe that is why there is a hump in the crossover, they also sell it without the hump for the exhaust not in the tunnel. Which one did you get? what was the part number?

 

I have the one with the hump for long tubes.

 

in that case if you are planning on running a X or H pipe then you wil;l need to go a little wider in the rear exit to go around it. That hump will be in the way unless you do a system like in the pic above. A Lot of guys have the rear of the X pipe close together, but you wouldn't be able to do that.

 

Anywho, I had an original spohn TA and sold it when I had my duals w/ x-pipe made on my old SS, I then bought a Random Tech TA to easily fit and not interfere. That's just the route I went.
