Anyone pull motor from top with A4 attached?

I was wondering if there was room to get both out together. I have seen a picture of someone's motor/M6 coming out together, but the M6 doesn't seem to be as large as the A4. If not, anyone have any tips to getting the tranny loose in the car?

How do you do it through the bottom? By undoing the k-member?

I tried both ways..... with my motor and A4

Undo the tranny, drop that and pull the motor out of the engine bay through the top

It will take you 2x as long any other way.

Taking it out from the bottom is the easiest and least time consuming.

Do a search and there are several good posts on how to do it
