Anyone order a Driveshaft from Jason Cromer?

Just wondering what he'd charge. I'm pretty sure I'm in the market for one, if I buy it brand new I'll probably get a 1LE. gmpartsdirect.com lists them in the $210's - $220's.

Does Jason Cromer have a webpage or list of stuff he can get?

I just got a 1LE from him for $236.00 shipped via UPS, just arrived yesterday. I really don't want to bad mouth him at all since I know he has been great to a lot of people here but I was a little shocked at the "lack" of packaging it came with, like next to none! All he did was wrap one layer of some cheap yellow paper around both ends of the driveshaft with some tape to cover the u joints, that was it??? The rest of it was left exposed And at both ends that paper was all torn up exposing the u joints It was in good shape though, I was just shocked at the lack of packaging it came with especially knowing how some packages get treated with UPS. I was assuming it would be boxed, or at the very least a layer of bubble wrap around it? Hell, I would have paid $10 extra for a box if I would have known this was how it was being shipped.

That price from GMpartsdirect doesnt include shipping, I put in a mock order with them for it and it came to $265.00 or so with shipping, they wanted like $40 or so for shipping!! But then again maybe that includes the price of some actual packaging material

Like I said it arrived fine, not dented and the u joints looked good so I'm fine with it. I just didn't think I had to ask to have it packaged though, it's something you just expect. Just roll the thing up in a little bubble wrap or something, anything!

I bought a LS1 aluminum from him for like 230. Mine was packaged the same way but was in fine shape.

I had the same deal with getting my 1LE DS shipped from him a while back. He just put those padded envelopes over each end and taped them on there. I was kind of pissed because one of the caps came off the u-joint from the DS being beat around by UPS and I had to line up all the needle bearings in it again. If you order one, have him double bag the ends or wrap it a little better for you.
