It's really not that difficult to DYI. Just take your time. If you need to mark all the cable ends and the vacuum lines. It took me about 2 hours to do. All you need is some time, a torque wrench, and a few sockets.

I used the AC Delco gaskets and they worked just fine--unless of course you just prefer the Fel-pros.

I can't think of any big tips or tricks--take your time and try to be patient. I put a thin bead of Ultra Copper on my gaskets as well. That's all I can think of.

I believe it is Part No. 12524653

(That's what the Camaro Parts Manual is showing for a 95-97 LT1--it shows it as being a kit, so I'm guessing both gaskets are included.)

I ordered mine from a local dealer so I can't be certain--I have the PN at home but I'm sure someone else can chime in and confirm.

EDIT: GMPartsDirect is showing it as a Manifold Gasket so I'm pretty sure that's what you need. ($17.69)

if you need the parts ASAP then dont go with GMPartsdirect. They have awesome prices, but they took 13 days to ship my stuff. Not too quick
