Anyone with Lloyd Elliot Flow Charts?
I was wondering if anyone had flow charts from Lloyd Elliot heads. I went to a performance shop today to buy some valves for the port job Lloyd is going to do and he was trying to sell me on some port job they have for $600 that flows high 230's-240's
And when I said that Lloyd could do in the 260 to 270 range with the 2.00/1.56 he was calling bs and calling all of these porters he knows inquiring about the flow numbers. He said that the most would be in the low 270's that he or his "porters" have seen on a stock LT1 head and the only person that could do that is this guy named Greg from Houston. So, I need some charts to call HIS bs. Thanks.

The only way to go is to have before and after numbers. Ask them to give you the flow numbers for a completely stock head, and then for the ported head. That is the only way you can see what kind of difference they make. The type of flow bench they are using and the way they set up the test also matter. For example you can't directly compare heads if one was flowed at 10" of water vs another flowed at 28" of water. 28" is more of a standard, but the 10" number is used for diagnosing problem areas.
My heads from Lloyd flowed 210 stock and 278 after porting. This was with larger than stock valves on a set of '643 castings.

Llafro, thanks for the numbers. Yeah, I'm looking for both numbers. This guy just really irrated the living hell out of me. He was like, "he's not telling you the truth" and said that he "is making leaks for better cfms" and that "he can say what he wants over the internet". I don't know lloyd personally, but have been emailing him for the past couple of months with him replying very thoroughly and I have come to trust what he says and I've seen numbers to go along with what he states. I just went in there for some valves and it turned into this big ordeal with him calling several people to prove me wrong. Then he says that he callibrates the bench to flow higher numbers and kept going on and on. I told him that when I got mine back that I would let him flow them. And he just kept going on and on...I was just getting royaly pissed off
Thanks for all the numbers and keep them comming!!!
