There was a guy that made just over 400 RWHP (I think) and ran mid 11's with their heads and an XE 230/236 cam I believe.

lt1lt1,

Ken 95Z (or something like that) was his name. I think he is having some tuning probs now and he is making slightly less HP but the car is FAST and the #'s are still good even though the tuning is a lil off.

Wild,

yea, it is good to be back. I had a problem with the McAfee firewall and I could not do much on the net. I have it under control now, LOL.

Ken is in his name for sure but I can not remember the rest.

He posted yesterday about his dyno day experience and he made 38X RWHP with his converter unlocked. If you do a search for "Ken" or "dyno" and look at the last day or so, you should be able to find it. He was the person that started the post.

Good luck.

What kind of e.t. gains is to be expected with ported lt1 heads, intake and cam swap? On average what kind of gains are people seeing? Will you gain a full second?

That would be me!
Tunning is an issue right now, seems on the dyno it does not put good numbers down but on the track it lays the smack down.
I think we got it running better now, we switched it over to speed density and picked up another 13 hp On the dyno with my slicks mounted it made 386 converter unlocked. But it still is running on the rich side, as soon as we take fuel away power drops off. The motor likes a 12.3 to 1 ratio on fuel, as soon as we make it leaner power drops off. Also I noticed that the average HP has increased throughout the power band when we switched over to speed density, the proof will be at the track, hopefully I will get a TnT run this weekend before the Thunder Shootout.

The heads so far are living up to my expectations.

KEN95Z, you seem to be happy with your combination motorsports ported heads. Do you recommend them over other shops? I noticed on your website that your car only gained 2 tenths and approx 1.5 mph going to stage 2 ported heads and a larger cam. You can't complain at all with the way your car performs, but it seems you should pick up more from your previous set-up going with stage 2 heads and a larger cam. Just wanting imput as I am also looking at their heads. Thanks for any reply!

PS, Your car is bad ***!!!!

I have a set of CMotorsport stage two's. If they preform as good as they look, I'll damn sure be happy. I can't wait to get this thing running!!!

As far as a satified customer with these guys.....I have to say I haven't had a shop treat me as good they have yet. Even though I don't have dyno #'s, or e/t numbers yet, I am one happy customer.
