anyone ever set up a shift light in the A pillar??

I just bought an atuometer shift light and i want to see if i can mount it in the A pillar, cutting a hole in the A pillar to see the light. I've seen it before, and it looked clean and "stealth" in way. Anyone have suggestions?

I believe what people have been doing is mounting it in the space where the defrost vent blows out to the side window.

I made one with a MSD RPM activated switch and a 3057 led bulb. The bulb fits in the little defroster vent perfectly. Mount the switch anywhere with access to change the RPM pills.

Don't remember exactly it was 2 years ago. I think I just used a coat hanger to feed the wires through like an electrician does in a house.
