Anyone ever put a "short stick" shifter on a b&m ripper?

Anyone ever put a "short stick" shifter on a b&m ripper?

Just wondering if these short stick shifters that are out there and any shorter/better than the one thats already on my B&M.

From my understanding, the B&M's stick isn't removeable.

Just take a porta-band to your B&M.........that'll shorten that sucker up.

It is removeable...I've had it off when I dropped the tranny for a clutch swap.

yup you can get a shorter one, in fact, a friend of mine is selling it. it makes the shifter kinda angled funny though because it doesnt angle to the driver, it leans to the right.

I thought about threading the stick farther down and chopping it 1" or 1.5" but supposedly the die is an extremely rare size. 16x1.5 metric or something of the sort. Otherwise you would need to have a new stick or cut/weld. To the guy who makes the stick, lets get some more info on it I'd be interested.
