Question anyone ever have the front bumper cover repaired???

anyone ever have the front bumper cover repaired? I have the holes from the bracket for starters and a nice crack in it. the boby shop guy said they could repair it no problem? is this true? will it look as if never happened?

My Z had a cracked up front bumper cover too. They told me they could fix it, and after trying decided to order me a new one and repaint it. Careful, my body shop bill was almost $400 after a new bumper cover and a repaint job. I'd imagine they've got some sort of compound to fill the crack and adhere it back together..... I'd just wonder HOW LONG it would stay looking like it never happened. I'd suggest you splurge on this one and get a new bumper cover, man. :\

the crack isnt all that bad, my grill will be covering it up again after the repair either way and also he said he could fix my left fender which is also cracked.. I can get a LH fender for 87.95 shipped and a front bumper for 129.95 shipped... i dunno....

I have the same problem, front bumper cover is cracked and nasty. I found a place on the internet that sells the front bumber covers new, for like, $120, unpainted. Delivery is a little expensive but it is better than a patch job at a body shop.
