if it is broken grab it with some vice grips at the thin large round section
if you are in / close to DFW i got one in my tool box i would give you
wont even ask why you were taking it off

Re: anyone ever break this?
right above the oil filter pad there is a plug that may be a much easier and better place for oil feed??
nothing to break off there just take a plug out providing of course your line will reach.

Re: anyone ever break this?
well its more then just that- the feed line has a bunch of fitting and a pipe that thread into the block and the sensor gets located into the pipe fitting. so it has to be feed from that spot.. so you have a extra sending unit or vice grips?
Re: anyone ever break this?
i'll just agree it HAS to be in that spot not seeing the lines and whatnot. I would assume you got 1 feed line with a fitting that screws into a t fitting for the oil sending unit. Why not elimante the t and just screw it right into the block above the ooil filter pad ? might hace to by a 50 cent fitting at the hardware store. The spare one i got is a long style. Pay for shipping and its yours. just my 2 pennies
