Anyone else have these problems with their Pacesetter LT's?
Anyone else have these problems with their Pacesetter LT's?
Well i finally started putting my pacesetters on and started with the passenger side. It slipped right in, maybe took five minutes to get a bolt started. I thought everything was going great until i noticed that the front two bolt holes in the flange were between an eighth and a quarter inch off from the head holes. After that I looked down and saw a primary resting on my motor mount!
Whats that all about? does anyone else have these problems and what should I do? I'm pulling the header back off but don't know what to do to fix these problems? I cant just leave the primary setting there because i would think with the motor twisting it would just mash the pipe right?

Re: Anyone else have these problems with their Pacesetter LT's?
The first thing that pops into my head when I read this was that you didn't get strated in the correct hole. What bolt did you get started? There are two bolt holes in the rear, if I remember correctly, right next to each other. I think that your clearance problem will go away if you get everything lined up correctly. If this isn't the case I don't know what to tell you.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Both could be right. I had a minor clearamce issue on the motor mount..i just ground down the mount slightly on the mount...and Waalllaaa...PERFECT!!
