I just thought I would ask here too. I finally figured out what my problems were with my car. The MSD6AL went bad. It would work fine for 1 or 2 runs and then it would act up. The stumble and cutting out was all from a 2 year old MSD.

I ask because I know 4 other people who have had problems recently with an MSD product. I know of a distributer that had a bad weld causing it to jump timing at random. antother guy I know had a retard box that threw his ignition crazy... and a few otheres


Is MSD having quality control issues lately? it seems everyone I talk to recently has or knows someone who with problems with an MSD product.

 

I have the MSD 6AL with the Blaster coil and my coil has gone bad two times in the past 6-8 months. MSD is real cool about replacing it, but still its enough to **** me off when i paid that much money for the setup. Just something to think about.
