I'm just curious if anyone has eliminated the front air dam and gutted a passageway in the front bumper to get air straight to the radiator. I'm going to be doing some SERIOUS weight reduction this summer and this is one of the things I'm considering adding.

I might cut out the front foglight area and put a matte black billet grille over the area to let air in.

Anyone else done this?

 

There is some structural metal behind there that may not be able to be removed.
