Didn't you post this before? Didn't anyone give you advice? When you do something like this, it is a matter of doing what is necessary to fix it: kinda like every situation needs to be analyzed and then a decisiion made as to how to do the fix.

I believe my response was to just pull the heads rather than fool around with the heads on the car and while you have the heads off, check to see that the headers fit nicely and need no machining and change the plugs if necessary. Seeing how I can't really see your problem, that is the best advise I can offer.

Many on here can guide you though the process of removing and installing your heads, but most can ony make suggestions regarding how to handle your stripped and broken bolts.

Save yourself some time and aggravation and pull the heads. JMHO

BUBBA's right. It sounds like if you've gald bolts in the aluminum you'll need to drill them out and retap for a heli-coil on both sides. The header bolts need to stay tight otherwise you'll have an exhaust leak.

If you can't get at the bolts decent, you'll have to pull the heads. Not too hard, just kinda messy. If you do pull the heads, pull the drains out the bottom of the block. I didn't , thought I drained it out the radiator and when I pulled off the rear bolt on the outside of the head, it shot coolant like "old Faithful". It was everywhere. So then I freak and try to put the bolt back in, try doing something real quick, what usually happens? Yup, dropped the bolt on the ground. I can laugh now, but it wasn't too funny then
