Ive seen that. I plan to buy them also. I think these other companies are raping us on rotors!

Cross drilled rotors are a waste of time. They're no more than eye candy when compared to slotted or standard, and those holes actually are weak points and eventually, depending on how hard you are on the brakes, WILL crack. Many people have had the stress cracks appear in at little as 5K miles.

I got a set of slotted from Hawks Racing on Ebay for $250 for the set, and couldn't be happier with them. Absoluetly no warping, and that's with many max braking efforts at the track, just for fun.

I did. I have a 94 Z-28. It sounds like I bougt the same ones you are looking at. I am still happy. Ive had them for about 2 1/2 years and they are still running strong. They are very easy to install too. It takes less than a hour with basic hand tools.

hi,
thanks again guys.i figured it would be a straight forward brake job,i've did a few on different car's,so it's getting easier's everytime,i've been looking through the site, and alot of people are switching over to ls1 brake,i know our brakes pretty much suck, but what all is invovled in doing a ls1 swap,or even a c5 corvette swap,i noticed someone did this as well,if im going to buy the new rotors, maybe i should swap brake first.thanks alot guys.

HA.. I just bought mine off ebay. Slotted ones though.....drilled ones crack. They're the Power Stop rotors made by Hawk. Was like 79.00 a pair. Here.

I bought a set of rotors from Irotors for about $200, and they work great. They're drilled and slotted. I've only had them for about a month, but they look great and feel a lot better than the old ones. If you don't wanna spend much, buy your rotos at Autozone. I've heard they're really cheap and very durable. Heard good stuff about them. About $80 a set.

I have the whole set. GReat upgrade. The rears are even oversized. I was scared to buy drilled and slotted.

I emailed the guy about the Hawk rotors on ebay a month ago if they were coated in anyway because I don't want them rusty in 2 months. He never responded to my email. So I didn't buy them.
