LT1 Based Engine Tech 1993-1997 LT1/LT4 Engine Related

Anyone been able to take the clutch fork out "without" taking the 6sp trans down???

Anyone been able to take the LT1 clutch fork out "W/O" taking the 6sp trans down???

I really do not want to do this now!!!

Use a jack to support the trans, take the mount off, loosen the bolts, and it will slide back enough for you to get a wrench in there to release the fork..not that bad

this true getiing it off isn't bad but try to put it back on with that litttle nut sitting in the fork,mmmmm lots of fun

Clutch fork snapped in two right at the pivot point. Okay, coulda been a more expensive part but sure is a pain ta get to, I belive. I just need someones opionion that has already played with one.

Why doesnt it just unhook like the old ones????????????

Okay, thanks all. I have found some pics of it, good ones. If I am gonna go through all that, I might as well as take her down for an inspection. Man, I know I am gonna want something new, besides the fork, put in there, this sucks!!
