anyone with a 383 and xfi cam?

hey fellas, I am rebuilding my lt1. I currently have a 4340 3.75'' crank, 4 bolt splayed caps, some h beam rods and 11.5-1 srp pistons. I have ported (lt1) heads w/2.0intake and 1.56 ext valves. I am planning on getting some 36# injectors. I am thinking of choosing the xfi comp cams# 468-8 292/300 dur. I also need advice on a set of lifters. Anyone know if this is a good cam choice?
I only drive the car to work once in a while. other than that, it's usually wide open at the strip.
I could use any comments or advice. thanks. -nick

It's a 396, maybe that's why you didn't find it in a search. Since I know you did one...

I just put that cam in my 383 but have yet to put it in the car. Comp Cams suggested this cam for my setup. This is a drag only car though. Never asked them about the streetability.
