I was going to, but they don't produce them for a 93 only 95+, so keep us 93/94 guys posted if you find some for your car

I know they only make them for 95 - 97 but those should fit a 93 with the tb bypass.

Re: Anybody using Samco silicone radiator hoses?

Just a replacement coolant hose, made of silicone, and you can get them in different colors is all....

There's more to it than a 'throttle body bypass' , but it can be done[ I have done it on my 94, and feel it is a better setup]
Also, more hose kits are available for 95-7
See my post below for more info...

Re: Anybody using Samco silicone radiator hoses?

foustas: they are coolant hoses made from silicone which is more heat resistant and should be more durable than the stock rubber hoses
Charlie, your link didn't work. Care to elaborate?

Re: Anybody using Samco silicone radiator hoses?

Bud M..
Here it is again:

What's involved in the changeover from a 94 to the newer hoses? In other words, what do you have to do to get these to fit on a 94?

Using the diagrams from shoebox' site:
Heater hose configuration is very similar, [and the '95-7 TB bypass works for both 'early' or 'late' heater pipe assemblies....]
http://shbox.com/1/heater_hoses.jpg
The above routing accounts for the use of 6 of the kit hoses [of which one, #15, is 'missing' from the kit.. use a regular 3/4" heater hose, or buy a few feet of Hi Miler 3/4" hose]
The 'bleeder pipe'[#4 in diagram] has to be replaced with the 95-7 pipe..GM p/n 10262478 $35.07 GM list[93-4 has a 'tee' in it..]18 bux from Jason Cromer..

http://shbox.com/1/93-94_hoses.jpg
Note hose #14 that will not be used for the 95-7 configuration...
Note hose #4 which is routed as a 95-7 TB bypass would be.. do it that way.. [this is actually hose #5 in below diagram, from the Hi Miler kit, cut to fit..]

http://shbox.com/1/95-97_hoses.jpg
The above diagram is how the Hi Miler hoses will route.. hose #4 will be deleted.. hose #5 will be 'rerouted' to run as hose #4 does in the above 93-4 configuration.. [for TB bypass]
Note hose # 14 which has no molded in 'tee'[it was source for TB hose in 93-4]
Hose #1 & 16] is same for both configurations...
Some of the Hi Miler kit hoses need to be trimmed to fit but it is a nice kit..

Are these similar to the goodyear hoses that are in the summit catalog? The Blue ones?
