Anybody ever rebuilt a water pump?

Anybody ever rebuilt a water pump?
I had mine powdercoated and didn't think about it hurting the bearings in it!

Anywho, I know there has to be a way, since you can buy them reman, but I wanted to see if anybody had by chance do so..

Never have seen any parts available to rebuild one...

If anybody ever finds out, I wish they would tell me. It would be so simple to replace the bearing and seal in a WP. Most of the time that is all that is wrong with them.

It'd be easy to obtain the bearing and seal, but I can't figure out how to get the thing apart!
