Any major differences between 93 and 97 LT1?

I had a 923Z as you see in my old sig (need to update it). But I am picking up a 30th anniversary Z on June 11th. What are the main differences in the engines. I think I remember the opti being different and im pretty sure the computer is different. I tried using a scanmaster on my 93 and I think it only worked with 94-97. Any other things that I should know? Thanks

93Z doesn't have a mass air sensor as does the 94-97.

Yeah the rims are white on the one im buying. Its the anniversary edition. White with the orange stripes. Seats are also white with 30th logo. I thought the tail lights changed in 98. Guess im wrong. I have to look at the pics of the car again. Thanks for all the replies.

Re: Any major differences between 93 and 97 LT1?

Intake is different, the 93 doesnt have the fuel rail crossover in the front. The 93 if autop would also have the 4L60 no E its basicly a 700R4 with a 5 pin connector instead of 4 (differnt TC clutch activation) so if it were an auto it would also have a TV cable from the tranny to the T/B. But the longblocks are pretty well identical except for mild differences in the cam (opti drive and specs) and the afformentioned connecting rods and pushrods, the 93 has the skinny shanked rods whereas the 95 ups have the PM rods. The 93 had hardened pushrods.
