any luck with ebay listed CAI's?

alright i'm going to the old CAI question again but here we go. looking on ebay has anyone had any luck with the CHROMEINTAKES induction kit? its listed for 36.99 and says:

This intake system comes bundled with:

1) 3 of 3" diameter T-306 heat-resisting polished Chrome Intake Tube

2) Mounting hardware: Brand New couplers and clamps

3) A ChromeINTAKES washable and reusable high-flow performance cone air filter

4) Basic Installation Instructions

the other is the TRACKRACING STG2 chrome intake kit with a K&N filter for 46.99.

I've looked in the parts ad on here and on ebay and havent found nothing. any advice would be great

I personally wouldn't waste my time. Just spend the money on a slp or moroso or k&n.

Just wait and find a good one used. I got a k&n minus a filter for 25 bucks.

i got the ebay one for $20 and put a better filter on it. i'd like to think my serious 383 does pretty well with it..mine makes more intake noise than valvetrain. not a bad product for the price at all.

Its a hit or miss with the ebay stuff, personally I would look for a used name brand cold air intake and purchase that.

buy used with no filter....you'll likely need a new filter if youbuy it used any way so stick with a setup that doesnt have one. pay the 30 bucks for a "honda" 3" cone filter to put on the end of it. spend the extra 50 bucks and have a much better quality setup.
