Just curious if any of you out there have passed the OBDII emissions tests with an LT1 without AIR, EGR or Cats? I have been trying everything I can with LT1 Edit and nothing yet, always get sytstem not ready message or something?

putting my engine together this weekend, no air pump, no ac, no cats, no egr...97 - obd2,,,, tuned by madz28....it passed last year with no cats...
here in missouri u can have 2 "not ready" codes and still pass...will i fail??

 

Oh geez... I forgot all of you arn't in NY, Lol. Here in good ol' NY , now all the 96 and newer OBDII vehicles have to be hooked up to a computer for an inspection. There are no more handing out stickers anymore here (atleast for OBDII.) The computer actually has to print out the sticker now, so the tech can't do anything about it. Also, they fail you if your check engine light is on, or if it doesn't come on when the vehicle starts (showing the bulb as been taken out.) I think we wanna be Cali or something... lol. I'm gonna stick with 95 and older vehicles as long as i can!!!!
