any interest in some polished intake manifolds.

ok i was thinking about polishing an intake for when i do heads and cam. i dont have a job so i was wondering if anybody would be interested in a completely polished intake manifolds (exterior only, no port work). i was thinking $175-200 if i choose to do this. i would buy them used and polish them and ship them to whoever wanted them on a per order basis, after a little while i would hope to do throttle bodies as well for $25 more than a used stocker costs and i would probably begin to buy peoples cores from them depending on how it worked out. i posted in the apearance section but got very few replies so i thought i'd give it a try in here since it moves a lot faster. i'm going to do one for myself in the next few weeks. if i'm happy with it i may start to sell them on a limited basis, around 3 a week would probably be my limit. hey i'm just one guy, and its very time consuming work. if i'm not satisfied the first one i do will be the last one i do and i'm very picky so this may never happen. i just wanted to gauge poeples interest. i'm not sure yet on how much i would charge for it, it really depends on how much i can get the cores for. after i get a feel for this i may do some other parts it doesnt have to be an intake thats just what i thought i would start out with.

That sounds good, man. I don't need the intake, b/c I have an LT4, but definately the throttle body. I thought about doing it myself but if I've got the cash and you've got the time...so let's work something out.

you're all just waiting for pictures arent you

no really i can fully understand that. and when there are pictures posted i will show some of the places that are tough to get perfect like bolt holes and things on the intake. they will be completey honest pictures in that they'll show the good and the "bad". i do not want anyone to be disapointed with something that i did. when i said bad before i mean some areas may not have a perfect mirror finish because i can't get to them.
