Yeah, that is small. I'd be interested to hear your impressions of it, though.

Re: any info on comp cams 304

The 304 is a 210/220 533/544 on a 114 CL w/1.6 rockers

The Crane 104227 is 210/224 511/553 on a 112 CL w/1.6 rockers

The 227 is a tad more, including the 112 CL will has a small but noticable lope.
I have the 227 and like it for my purpose which is a daily driver in traffic. The
304 will probably perform very similar and it's a noticable improvement over stock.
Probably about 30 rwhp.

well the person i bought it from had changed the lsa to 113 so it would bring the power band up a little. Do you have any time slips with yours?

Re: any info on comp cams 304

i have a cc-304. It made my idle a little rougher, and thats about all i noticed. Im sure it increased power, but not enough for me to notice a harder pull. For me, it was a waste of time and money.

I'll be going bigger.

FYI most people think the Hotcam is too small and wish they went bigger. I believe the hot cam is 218/228. Your is quite a bit smaller.

Nothing yet, but I will dyno the car and post results. Not sure when as the
next few weeks are busy.

Okay, are you also going by the lift in this equation? 'Cause the hot cam is
218/228 525/525 Forgive me for being an idiot but what are you looking for when you say bigger....lift, duration or what?

Re: any info on comp cams 304

It seems like a lot of the time after people do hotcams they wish they would of gone bigger. Well the hotcam is a lot bigger than the cc304. By bigger i'm going off of duration. Most people that run these smaller cams don't do heads and stock heads don't really gain any flow past .500 so getting a higher lift cam won't do anything.

Re: any info on comp cams 304

No I dont, sorry man. If it helps, i beat a TT supra with 15psi boost off the stock turbo with my locally ported heads and cc-304 and stock programming. I barely beat an ls1 vette with madz programming, and with stock programming i beat an M6 ss camaro with intake and exhaust, and it was close (a couple of car lengths from 60 to 120mph on a deserted highway). Thats the best i can give for perspective.

I have lost to every single head/cam f-body ive raced, and my problem is my cam.
