Any good Power in 4.3 V8?

Any good Power in 4.3 V8?

i am thinking about buying a motor from a 95 caprice, its a 4.3 V8, i hear this motor is 200hp and 235ftlbs stock. Can these motors get good power? For $700 can i get 230hp and 300ftlbs? Is this motor worth buying?

ummm a 4.3 is a V6 its has the same bore and stroke as a 350 but a 4.3 is definatly a v6but you can get all sorts of power out of them heck you can use some of the same parts off our cars on them like the 1.6 RR ect...

keep in mind, you need more then a motor, you'll need the tranny too, and the computers, and well theres lots of the little things that arent in the 700 I bet

Don't waste your time and money. You are talking about the L99 baby LT1 (262 cubes). By the time you got it to produce the torque and hp of a Impala 5.7 LT1, it would have been cheaper to by the 5.7 in the first place.
