My power antenna goes up and down fine, but the motor acts like it doesn't know when to stop. When the antenna gets all the way up, a really bad sound is made for about 5 seconds, the same think happens when it goes down. Is there a fix for this or do i need to buy a new motor?

Don't believe there is a fix for it. I just unplugged mine. Pull it up when you think you will need the radio and put it down if you don't. You could find one in a junkyard.

Sounds like the antenna uses the same system the headlights on firebird use to stop. There is probably a stripped gear in the antenna assembly.
