Another " what to do next "
Another " what to do next "
Guys I dont really know what to do next to my car.
This is the current list of mods:
Pacesetter long tubes, into 3'' x-pipe, 18'' chambered mufflers, dumped, Spec stage III clutch, Cai, Intake elbow and Tune.
my choices are:
Gears, another pro 5.0 ( sold my last one because i WAS selling the car ), sportlines, lower contol arms/relocation brackets, electric wp, or anything else you guys think would be worth it?
I don't have the money for heads/cam anymore.
Whats your opinions? I've got about $300-450.

This is just my suggestion but how about the Electric water pump, and some 1.6-1.7 Roller rockers. That should yield some real nice gains in my opinion....9-10RWHP for the water pump, and probably another 10 or so with the roller rockers, thats pretty good bang for the buck. Also you would want these items once you go to do heads/cam anyways so you might as well get them now.

Gears will be about $150, master install kit is another $100...and most places charge $200+...so That would be all you would be able to get. I don't think thats the best mod you can do right now, but it is a good one anyways.

I'm not for sure if sportlines would make my x-pipe drag or not. I'm having problems deciding wether to go for more hp, better launch, or looks. I just wish I had all kinds of money so I could do everything.
Re: Another " what to do next "
Personally I am a fan of making a car faster...handling is nice..but I am more of a drag racer tho. Its just a decision of what you really want from your car. I will not be lowering my car for 2 reasons....one I am going to be switching to true duals, and 2 they are poor for drag racing due to reduced weight transfer. I also don't know what your other plans for the car are but I wouldn't switch gears because chances are if you are gonna upgrade the power, you will most likely break the rear...and the money you put into building the weak 10 bolt you could have saved for a strong 9 inch or 12 bolt. Just my 2 cents tho.
