Question Another Question, This Time It's The ECM

What are the symptoms of an ECM going bad? I think mine is not functioning properly, and just wanted some intel on the situation!

Never had problems with my ecm but my haynes manual says to try tapping "vigorously" on it and see if your engine sputters, etc. If it does then you might have problems.

If you've got a spare, or a friend with an LT1 car, you could swap the ECMs and see if the problem goes away.
