Ok, as always I have a new car problem. Now whenever my car gets to 210 degress it starts to stall out and trys to cut off on me. For example, if I am at a stop light and say if I am there more than 30 seconds and it reaches 210 degrees, when I pull off the car starts to stall out on me. As long as its a cool day and I dont reach 210 degress it runs fine. What in the world could be the solution to this weeks problem.

 

Get some carb cleaner and run it through the throtle body and intake. Clean some crap out. Would hurt to run some sea foam through your car either. These two things are cheap to do and may fix your problem.

 

Since its heat related I would point my finger at the ignition control module going out.... Same thing happened to me.. That was the culprit. I would give it a shot. You can take it off and have autozone test it for free. JMHO

 

I have a MSD 6AL Ignition Control Module how long do they last before they start going bad?

Yeah it comes with a little heat shield but it doesnt help much when its going bad.... When it gets heat soaked it makes your car do what you are describing.

If that doesn't work try Unplugging both 02 sensors, and drive it and see if the car still does it
